What is Randomly Challenged?
We're a community that likes to try new things online AND in the real world. Randomly Challenged is a massive social game that rewards you for taking a risk, doing something new, and sharing your experience with everyone else. You can play Randomly Challenged as an individual or as a group, and use our features provide incentives, rewards, and to inspire.
What sort of challenges are there?
There are 12 types of challenge: Active, Benevolent, Cultural, Creative, Discovery, Ecological, Intellectual, Literary, Sensory, Social, Wellbeing and Supreme Mammoth.
As well as 4 difficulty types:
Micro = The easiest challenge. A little bit of fun to fill minutes or a couple of hours.
Mini = One of these might take a bit of thought or planning but will still be easy to complete.
Medium = Now you're talkin'! These will take time to plan and complete - a proper test of what you're made of.
Mammoth= These will wring out every last bit of courage and determination you have and leave you bathed in glory.
You can pit yourself against Randomly Challenged and complete official challenges, collecting achievements, rewards and recognition along the way or you can create you own challenges to post to the community, your groups or friends and family.
It sure is. We will never charge you to join our site or play Randomly Challenged. However, sometimes in order to complete a challenge you might need to buy something or travel. For example, if you need to cook something to complete a challenge you will need ingredients to cook with - we don't supply those. You don't have to do the challenge if it's not right for you, just click the skip button - sometimes though, this may incur a
penalty.
In short, do some challenges! The more you do and the more creative, original, funny and inspiring your content, the more often you will be rewarded.
Is it possible to beat Randomly Challenged?
NEVER! Well... nothing is impossible. As you progress your skill level will increase. Your current level is displayed in your profile. There are a lot of levels to attain and there's an ultimate level with a big reward for the first player to reach it... will you be the first to conquer Randomly Challenged?
Where can I get help with all this?

Click this icon wherever you see it to get help and tips with the page that you on. Still having problems? Contact us with the form at the bottom of the page and we'll be happy to help.
How do I start a challenge?
Head over to your 'Profile' page. There you need to click the 'get a challenge' button. You will then be asked what difficulty or commitment level of challenge you wish to start. Micro (easy) through to Mammoth (very difficult).
After making your selection you will be asked to choose either a random challenge or select your challenge from a choice of three. However, if you select your challenge you will only see a title and an outline at this point. Click the 'Go' button and the challenge has begun! Your Reward Time will have started - complete the challenge within this time limit to earn Reward Tokens - they earn you rewards!
How do I complete a challenge?
Follow the instructions contained in your challenge. As long as you complete the required parts of the challenge, it counts. We encourage you to be creative with the requirements and put your own take on the challenge - as long as it is within the Rules of play and not against any of our Terms and Conditions.
Upload content to your challenge via its loader in your Profile page. To add a Movie, click the 'Edit' button in the movie section. The same process applies to text and photos. When you're happy with what you've made and are sure it meets the requirements to pass the challenge, individual accounts should click the 'complete challenge' button. Group challenges do not need to be submitted to Randomly Challenged and do not have a 'complete challenge' button - they are always available to be added to, and to be rated by the community.
Tip: You will be rewarded more frequently if you create interesting challenge content. The better the rating you receive from other players the more you will gain.
What happens if I skip a challenge?
If it's a Community Challenge, or one that you created yourself then there is no penalty for deciding to drop it from your list of active challenges. If you have started one of our own Randomly Challenged challenges however, then you will either get to skip it for free, or a points penalty will be taken out of your skill level. We give you a few free skips when you start, to get you used to our site without being unfair (and there are other ways of earning a free skip) - but the more of our challenges you take on, the greater the penalty for not trying to finish them!
How do I bookmark content?

Look for this icon near the top left of profile and challenge pages. If it's blue then you need to click on it to bookmark the page. Green means it's already bookmarked. A list of all your bookmarks can be found by clicking the 'Bookmarks' tab on your profile page.
Why do I have to be 18 to join?
While our challenges are not dangerous there are some that will require a mature approach or may perhaps have an age restriction on the activity in question. To make the game fair, a player has to be 18 years of age to join or be 16 and have their parent or guardian's consent.
What should my Profile picture look like?
In order for you to be able to win rewards we have to be able to make sure that the player that owns the account completes their challenges. We do this with profile pictures.
A profile picture needs to be a good representation of what you look like. Think passport photo. Then we need to see you completing your challenges either in a photo or a movie. We must be able to see you complete your challenge in EVERY challenge to qualify for rewards.
How do I add friends to my profile?
You can add friends to your profile via their profile pages and challenge pages. Adding friends makes it easy to keep track of how they are doing in the game, and they can be invited to any groups that you are part of. Your friends are represented by their profile pictures in your profile. The more you visit their content and interact with them the higher on your list they will climb.
You can edit your friends list from your profile page.
