Challenge Description:
Who says a t-shirt isn't high fashion? Actions to take:
1. Buy or find a blank t-shirt. 2. Design an image to put on it. 3. Decorate the shirt. 4. Wear it in public somewhere. Suggestions: You could try using tie-dye, fabric crayons, acrylic paint, photo transfer paper and your computer, permanent markers, etc., etc. Need some inspiration? Use the word 'Random' as a starting point. Minimum Requirements for Prizes:
1. A photo or movie of you wearing your fantastic new t-shirt 2. Tell us about your inspiration |
Ldot´s story
Okay, so I wore my shirt proudly to the park with my kids, my nieces and nephew, my mom, my sister-in-law and her mom. We had a great time enjoying the sunshine and picnicing in the nice spring weather.
The inspiration for my shirt...Well, I was first influenced by the shirt I had chosen, which was an old earth day clean-up shirt. And then I thought I would like to involve my kids in some way. So, I took an outline of each of my girls' hands and traced them onto the shirt to look like flowers. Then to bring in the Earth day theme I wrote on the shirt "Keep it green. For my kids' sake".
